If you are a SD37 Republican Delegate or Alternate, you should have receive the Convention Call for our upcoming BPOU Convention.  We look to this BPOU convention for a variety of reasons.

Of course it is great to see some of the faces that all too frequently we only see during election season before we all return to our busy lives.  The conversations with folk with both a common philosophy yet a diverse range of opinion is always a highlight of any political event.

We also have a lot of official business to conduct.  First, we'll be electing the BPOU officers that make up our Executive Committee and run the day-to-day operations of our BPOU.  We'll also elect the Delegates and Alternates who will represent out BPOU in the State Central Committee Meeting, which is the governing body of the MN Republican Party.   And then we'll consider proposed changes to our BPOU Constitution.

In addition to all that, we really want to hear everyone's input.  In the past two years, we've made great progress on improving the BPOU to be more than just an election oriented organization.  While the elections remain our focus we understand that so much more can be accomplished, which will also help us when it comes to Election time.  We hope to break into small groups to brainstorm some ideas on how to accomplish this.  So come with your opinions ready!!  We hope to hear them!!
