With the New Year comes another opportunity to take advantage of the Minnesota Political Contribution Refund program, to help your local Republicans advance your values and interests through the next election cycle. It is NOT too early to get started. All you have to do is to contribute $50, or $100 per couple, and in a few weeks you get your money back. It is basically a short-term loan and it helps us a great deal!

I know that this close to the Holiday season and so shortly after a disappointing election, you don't want to deal with this right now, so let me be both brief and blunt. Democrats vastly outspent us, at all levels, in the last election. As Republicans we would like to believe that our good ideas overcome crass cash advantages, but it doesn't seem to work that way.  Not only the Democratic Party, but their many deep-pocketed interest groups -- unions and trial lawyers, George Soros and the Hollywood elite -- give them a tremendous advantage in fund-raising and thereby at winning elections and advancing their liberal agenda.
